Bottom of the list

One of my favorite things to do is marking items off of a to-do list. Some days, though, it seems I add more than I take away, and I end up watching the list grow into more lists, lists with more categories, more color coding, and more software to help manage the mess. I end up with lists of lists and ultimately feeling overwhelmed. I know we have all read about how to manage a to-do list with the things I mentioned before, but one strategy that I love is looking at the time drains and the wastes of energy on the list. They usually are on the bottom. Things that we can decide to just let go and cut from the bottom of that list. I would encourage you to try it and see how it helps.

As a gift, I was given a book called The Dip. It contains some good insight for when you’re feeling stuck in a job or life situation. I was encouraged, by reading it, to quit some things in life in order to make room for being the best in the world at what you are passionate about. It’s only about 80 pages, so go check it out.
